The greatest achievements were at first and for a time dreams. The oak sleeps in the acorn.
Isabelle doesn’t have a soccer game, so we are taking the opportunity to head to the Belvedere pumpkin patch. I have been going here since Cebastian was two, and I was carrying Isabelle in my arms. It’s a yearly ritual that we do, and I want to continue the tradition.
The pumpkin patch is amazing. It has a huge corn maze, rides, authentic kettle corn, apple butter, pumpkins, hay ride, zip lines. I love it! I made it the place for the family to meet to celebrate Cebastian’s birthday. After his behavior at school, I wasn’t sure about it; however, a child’s birthday is very important.
If you get a chance to go to a pumpkin patch, don’t hesitate. It’s worth it.
The first day of school didn’t go off with a hitch. You can read more about that here http://dcfemella.com/blog/2008/09/the-bus-fiasco/ . Other than that, the routine is running pretty smoothly. I am getting the kids to their practices, and they are getting to school on time. It’s time to start working on my writing schedule now that they seem to be doing fine. We’ll see how things go when we add homework to the mix.
