Experts say that you shouldn’t bring technology in your bedroom. The bedroom is the place where you should relax and sleep. Being a tech-obsessed person, I usually ignore this and bring my laptop in while watching television. It’s time that I stop!
I’ve noticed that lately, I am sleeping later, which throws me off the next day because I am exhausted. When I lived with my parents, I couldn’t do this because A. They didn’t have a wireless network and B. They kids and I slept in the same room.
I need to break this addiction. From now on, the laptop stays out of the bedroom. It will give my brain time to slow down, so I can relax before sleeping. The television is another device that I need to turn off. When I was in high school, I would read for 30 minutes before bedtime. It’s something that I want to start doing.
Tonight, I plan to start on this quest. I might fall off the wagon a few times, but I know that I can do it.

I’m not a liar. Yes, I have blurted out the one or two white lie, but never blatantly lied about anything. One thing that my friends and family always say about me is how brutally honest I am. My friend Shauna always brings up that one time in high school where this girl was upset cause I called her out about something, so she went to this acquaintance of mine and told her I thought she was ugly. My acquaintance came up to me in front of everyone and yelled, “C. told me that you called me ugly. Did you?”
I felt bad, but all i could reply was “Yes, I said you were.”
We still laugh about that. Therefore, I am extremely upset that someone would say that I am lying about something so ridiculous. In my business blog, I wrote about how people should constantly Google themselves. The reason why? People are going to Google you! Sometimes when those people google you? They will fall upon a blog that mentions you, and then the fascination begins. I have been having someone from Atlanta, GA checking out my blog and it’s due to that individual. I didn’t tell him this because I didn’t want to cause this huge uproar for something as ridiculous as someone checking my blog. First and foremost, my blog is public! Newsflash! People are going to check it out, even those who you wouldn’t want them looking at it. It’s the risk us bloggers take.
I have been blogging since 2001, and I’ve had to deal with this issue since that first blog I had. Did I stop? No, cause you still see me writing away. I love blogging. it’s made me connect with some wonderful people who I would have never met if it weren’t for this medium. No one is going to prevent me from blogging because she wants to start some unnecessary drama for the things that I blog about. if you don’t like what I am blogging about, PEACE. There are millions of blogs out there, you don’t have to read mine. I write for my own satisfaction.
The only thing that I have learned from this experience is not to use a person’s real name and not try to do detective work to figure out who the person is who is looking at your blog. No point and I shouldn’t care.

Some 1,500 Afghani girls stayed home from school on Thursday, one day after a vicious acid attack on eight of their fellow students. This is a horrible act by some atrocious people who should be tortured for doing this to innocent girls. If you watch the video, you can sense the pain this girl is feeling. On top of that, her sister and her will be scarred for life, emotionally and physically. It’s horrific people would do this just cause these girls want to go to school and get an education.

I have to brag, and let everyone know that Cebastian placed second in his first Track and Field meet. He probably would have placed first if he hadn’t started crying cause he thought he had lost. The reason is that he was running wiht all the older kids, so he didn’t realize that for his age group, he had won. When the coach sent me the results, I was shocked. I was already proud of him because he had finished, and now I am flabbergasted that he actually one.
I am also proud of Isabelle. She didn’t want anything to do with Soccer after the first couple of times. However, the last game, she got up there and scored four goals. It was impressive. I practiced with her while Cebastian practiced his running, but I thought that was as far as she would take it. I was pleasantly wrong.
Never give up on your kids. Even if they win or lose, you should always be proud of them. My parents never showed me that, so I want to make sure that I do that for them.
