I love your comments! I wonder if it also has to do with our culture. My family is always on the go, and I have noticed the same with my other latin friends. We are constantly visiting someone's house, going shopping, restaurants, trips, etc. I know my mom doesn't know how to relax, so I know that is another reason I can't. You'd be proud of me though. I went out to dinner with Lindsey Dragun (on FF), and then got text messages from five people asking me to meet them at this or that location, and I was tempted, but I turned them down. =D

I felt rushed just reading about your business! lol Seriously, you are always busy. I see it in your writing. I think that is wonderful. It's better than being stagnant. However, as you say, it does have it's down side, and you need to think of YOU too!

I think this world is all about getting it NOW! Fast food service, cars, high speed internet, EVERYTHING. My x was Jamaican. I learned something from him. RELAX. I used to watch him and want to beat his a-- LOL. It was like watching a duck waddle across the street. I was always like, "Hurry UP!" "Come on!" "What are you waiting for?" For goodness sake would you move your butt!!!!" LOL

Then one day I thought to myself, "Ok Adriana, this is him. Don't fight it. Accept it for what it is." And I started watching him. Every night he would sit outdoors and just think under the florida stars. In the mornings, he would sit outside and watch the kids in the private school across the street from our home as they played. He would laugh and cheer them on. On days off he would put on his fishing hat and take the boat fishing. When he spoke, he spoke soft and beautifuly.

When his family came to visit and I realized I sound like a loud obnoxious person because I speak so fast and move so fast. I guess that's the difference between and island boy and a city girl.

So even if you don't pencil yourself in, do it in your every day moments. Give yourself a breather. Turn your cell phone off, hide your computer in the closet for an afternoon. Sit outside by yourself and just shut your eyes and feel the breeze. Life is TOO SHORT to slip by.
