Curly Hair, Come Back!

One of the best inventions ever created was the flat iron.  It is the easiest way to straighten my unruly, curly hair.  However, I didn’t know that there would be a price to pay for using it…my curls!  I know it’s basically my fault because I barely wear my hair natural anymore.  It’s usually straight or in a ponytail.  Yesterday was the first time in months that I wore it curly, and to my surprise, my hair isn’t the same.  It made me sad to see this change.

The next time that I go to my stylist, I am going to ask her if there is anything that I can do to remedy this.  I am also going to make more of an effort not to use my flat iron so much.  It might make my hair healthier as well.

  • Shevonne, could it be that your hair is shorter? Maybe that might have a little to do with it. I love curls. I don't have them myself but my daughter's is spiral curls. I say you start wearing it curly. ; )
