What I Will Do When Zombies Infest This World

I have watched so many zombie movies and played zombie video games that I think I am an expert on what to do when they finally arrive. First, I would get my kids in the car and drive to a location that is in the mountains and surrounded by nothing for miles. On the way, I would get the following weapons:

1. Rifle

2. Bat

3. Knives

4. Bow and Arrow (dad taught me how to)

5. Grenades

I would try to get as many canned foods and water that I could.

When we arrive at the location, I would setup traps all around the place, so I can hear the zombies coming. I wouldn’t be idiotic like other people who make all this noise and have lights on everywhere. We would have to live in the dark, so no one could know that we are there. I would also ensure that I have a full tank of gas in case we have to leave the location and head some place else. If we can find an abandoned place with a basement, we would probably stay in the basement so we can have lights.

While we are there, I would always practice my shooting, so I can become a sharp shooter when those zombies head our way. I hope that day never comes because one thing that I fear are zombies. If zombies were to come, I hope they are George Romero zombies that are super slow and I can outrun. If those crazy, fast zombies were the ones who were to infest this world, then I don’t think that children and I would have a chance. =( Maybe I will be like Claire in Resident Evil who was super hardcore, and could terrorize those zombies in return.

Let’s just hope that day never comes.

Find a good location on the side of a mountain, something on the high ground so you could see movement coming from far off, but have the mountain at the back so they can't sneak behind you. I'd add a generator and some motion sensors to the grocery list too, help with detection so you can get some sleep. Also, 2x4's, because they are great weapons too.

I think I've seen too many zombie movies.

I was thinking about motion detectors, but the thing is the lights would be
blinding and it would bring more zombies my way. I do like the mountain
location. =D I don't think I would barely sleep if zombies were to come.

Yes, good point. They have motion detectors that have no lights, so you can rig it up to an external speaker in your house/cave/shanty town and it'll alert you. This is long-term plans, of course. I'm sure I'd go through at least 2-3 locations before I could find someplace safe, and even still.

You're never truly safe from Zombies.
